Warm cheese, rustic bread and chocolate … the only thing missing from this scrumptious dish is a glass of wine.
Ingredients:
- 1 loaf baked rustic bread (Olive, Rosemary, Italian, Sour Dough)
- 8 ounces goat cheese
- ¼ cup nibs
- ¼ cup pecans
- ¼ cup Spanish olives
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cut the bread into thick slices and set aside.
- Using a food processor, crush the nibs and pecans. Once finely chopped add in olives and continue to process until the olives are also in small pieces.
- Add the goat cheese to the nut and olive mixture and blend well.
- Spread cheese onto the bread and place it, cheese side up on a baking sheet.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and toast until cheese is warm and begins to bubble, about 5 minutes.
